Meet Nicolino Tartaglia.

He is 5 years old and a purple belt.

Nicolino had no prior experience in martial arts,

before coming to Fair Lawn Taekwondo.

​

Nico's Dad had studied martial arts before

and is a current student of Fair Lawn Taekwondo.

 

Nico's parents wanted Nico to learn something new,

they decided to give martial arts a try.

 

Now, both parents and Nico study Taekwondo.

 

Training was at times challenging,

because of some focus trouble. 

Nico pushed through.

 

During each class,

Nico always helped the other students,

encouraging them to never gave up.
 

What motivates Nico to work hard is Master Yoon.

Because Master Yoon helps me and my parents.

 

Nico's proudest accomplishment was

getting earning his purple belt.

What is his advice to other students and new students,

​

"Work hard. Dream Big. Never Give Up."

​

I now have self-confidence,

I will never give up an always try my best.

​

Nico would like to be a soccer player when he grows up.
