Meet Liev Korolev.

He is 8 years old and a red belt.

 

Liev​ had no prior experience in martial arts,

before training at Fair Lawn Taekwondo. 
 

 "I wanted to learn a new skill."

​

Training at Fair Lawn Taekwondo helped me

to gain self-confidence, respect,

self-discipline and responsibilities.

​

Liev worked hard on learning his form. 

Through his hard work and dedication, Liev started
to noticed his changed approach when facing new challenges.

​

"I look through the challenges to achieve the goal."

What motivates Liev to continue to work hard, 

"Working hard to achieve my goal is what

motivates me to train hard."

Liev's proudest accomplishment

is receiving his red belt.

What is his advice to other students and new students,

"Work hard, listen and have fun."​

​

What is his advice to his younger self and older self, 

"To my younger self, listen better in order to get the next belt.

To my older self, work hard to achieve my goal and be proud." 

​

When asked, what he would like to be when

he grows up, Liev replied: 

"When I grow up, I would like to be an

entomologist; a scientist who studies insects."

​
