NOVEMBER 2019
Meet Hugo Galdos.
He is 9 years old, and a junior black belt.

In addition to studying taekwondo,
Hugo enjoys running and playing soccer.

Hugo began his martial art journey with us,
when he was only four years old with no prior experience.

Hugo's journey in martial arts has been a special one.
Hugo never quits. He faces his challenges with an inner strength,
that keeps him trying until he overcomes any obstacle.
Hugo continues to approach challenges with a
zest of strength, determination and energy.
During the years Hugo has been training with us,
we've watched him grow into a fine student.
Hugo has gained a tremendous sense of
maturity that inspires everyone
he meets, as well as himself.
Hugo continues to try his very best.

While earning his junior black belt, he found
sparring to be difficult. Hugo had remained strong
and tries his best each and every time.

When Hugo was asked if there was any advice he would give
a future student. Hugo would advice new students,
"Try to practice with family and friends and learn your kicks."

Hugo was asked if there was any advice he would give
to his younger self and older self. Hugo would tell his
younger self and older self,
"Stay strong. Never give up."

Hugo wants to be a scientist or an engineer.

My Fair Lawn Taekwondo training has helped me to
stay focus on my goals.
