CONGRATULATIONS ON BECOMING A FIRST DEGREE BLACK BELT!
This is a major milestone, not only in your Martial Arts journey, but also in your life! Achieving a black belt is not the end of ones path of mastery of the arts; rather it is the first step in your true journey.
All three steps must be completed before we can schedule a ceremony date.
STEP 1 : FIRST DEGREE BLACK BELT APPLICATION
Please fill out our First Degree Black Belt Application form accurately. This information is needed for the engraved name
on the trophy, embroidered name on the first degree black belt, and the Fair Lawn Taekwondo certification.
We ask that you please double check your information before submitting the form.
There are several fees attached to this application:

Fair Lawn Taekwondo First Degree Black Belt Certification Fee, $380. (This is a mandatory fee).

Black Belt Uniform, $80. (This is an optional fee).
STEP 2 : BLACK BELT ESSAY GUIDELINE
This is your opportunity to tell us something about you, your life, or your goals. It is also an opportunity to express appreciation to those who have helped you along the way. You will be reading this essay aloud during your scheduled First Degree Black Belt Ceremony.
Requirements:
