AUGUST 2019
Meet Eli Avraham Lugashi.
He is 10 years old.
He received his junior black belt on July 10, 2019.

Eli enjoys playing video games and playing drums.
He began his martial art journey, here
at Fair Lawn Taekwondo back in July 2017.

Eli came to us with no prior experience.
Eli decided to try Taekwondo to be more focused and disciplined.

Eli takes Taekwondo with his younger brother, Koby.
He had a few obstacles to overcome to obtain his current belt level.
Eli had to overcome stretching his legs and trying to
teach to his brother Koby to be a bit challenging.

Taekwondo has helped Eli stand up for people who are bullied.

Eli noticed changes to how he reacts to a challenging situation,
he had learned to stay calm.

Eli was asked if there was any advice he would give
a future student. Eli would advice new students,
"If you think you can do it, do it to the best of your ability."

Eli was asked if there was any advice he would give
to his younger self and older self. Eli would tell his
younger self and older self,
"be the best version of yourself."

Eli would like to be a martial arts master.

Fair Lawn Taekwondo will help me achieve my goals
by teaching me strength, discipline, and self control.
