OCTOBER 2021
Meet David Korchevsky.
He is seven years old and an orange belt.

David enjoys playing with cars, riding his bicycle, and reading.

David had a no martial art experience prior to
Fair Lawn Taekwondo. He started Taekwondo because
he wanted to try a new activity with friends.

Taekwondo has helped David practice listening
more attentively. Following directions is difficult and
it's something that he has been working on.

"Strength doesn't come from what you can do.
It comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn't."
- David

David's proudest accomplishment is when he got his orange belt.
What keeps him motivated is himself, goals, and his family.
When asked, what advice would you give to a new student,
"Keep trying and don't give up."
When asked, what advice would you give your
younger self and older self,

"You can do it!"

When asked, what would you like to be when you grow up,
"I would like to be a chef."

When asked, how will your training from
Fair Lawn Taekwondo help you achieve your goals,
"My training from Fair Lawn Taekwondo will help me
with discipline, confidence, and self control."
