February 2021
Meet Anderson Hsiao.
He is seven and half years old and a Junior Black belt.

What lead Anderson to try Taekwondo,
was one of his friends, who holds a second degree black belt.
Anderson had taken started taking Taekwondo
classes at a summer camp. He liked it so much,
he asked his parents to continue his training.
His parents found Fair Lawn Taekwondo.
Anderson is an excellent student.
He comes to class always eager to learn and not afraid to
try something new. He always gives it his all and
keeps trying until he does the skill well.
Anderson is always encouraging the other
students to keep trying. He is a great team player and
becomes friends with everyone in class.

What motivates Anderson to work hard is
getting the bigger trophies and higher belt ranks.

Anderson's proudest accomplishment was getting
his Junior Black belt trophy, because now his
belt is half black color. Almost a full black belt!
What is his advice to other students and new students,

"Believe. Take Action. Have Confidence. Be Disciplined. Never Give Up."

I now have more self-confidence to challenge new things.
I will now challenge myself in every stage of my life.

Anderson would like to be an engineer when he grows up.
