Meet Alyssa (AJ) Ramirez.

She is 13 years old and an orange belt.

Alyssa had no prior experience in martial arts,

prior to coming to Fair Lawn Taekwondo.
 

She joined Fair Lawn Taekwondo

to learn defense and keep her body strong. 

​

Training was at times challenging, 
especially breaking the wooden boards.  

​

"I learn from failures and mistakes.

This gives me knowledge of how to attack the next challenge."

What motivates Alyssa to continue to work hard

is knowing there is a positive outcome.

Alyssa's proudest accomplishment is her continuous 

development everyday and her ability to progress in everything.

"Taekwondo has given me strength and self-confidence."

 

What is her advice to other students and new students,

"Have patience in the process."

What is her advice to her younger self and older self, 

"Younger self: You should of started Taekwondo sooner.

Older self: Don't ever stop training."

"An Artist with Pixar entertainment."
